The Finance Director reports to the City Administrator.  He/She works closely with the Mayor, City Commission, and City Administration. The Finance Director oversees the following functions: Accounting and Financial Reporting, Budgeting, Purchasing and Contract Administration., Payroll, Risk Management, Debt Management, Cash management and Investing, and Management Analysis.  The Finance Department has 55 employees.

Bachelors Degree in Accounting, or a related field required.   Masters in Business Administration, Accounting, or Public Administration highly desirable.  CPA highly desirable.  Minimum of 7 years of professional management experience in accounting or finance required.  Governmental accounting experience is essential.  The candidate must have a combination of management skills and strong technical skills.

Starting salary up to $140,000, DOQ.  Outstanding benefits package.
