Operating budget $110M plus extensive capital investment, excellent financial condition, AAA bond rating, 485 FT employees, plus volunteer firefighters and many part time and seasonal . Prefer graduate degree in public administration or related field plus 15 years as leader and executive in similar municipality or private sector, or equivalent combination of education and experience. The ideal candidate will have a record of excellent skills in management, finance and cost-effective service delivery. A style of professionalism, team-building and respect for expert, innovative staff. Excellent communications with Council, staff and public, both written and oral presentation. Ability to facilitate Council vision, priorities and align City work program for measurable performance. Experience with maturing communities, redevelopment and collaboration. Familiar with successful interest-based collective bargaining.
