POLK COUNTY, FLORIDA
Polk County, Florida, is at the geographic center of Florida. It encompasses over 2,000 square miles. Current population of Polk County ix approximately 500,000. The Land Development Engineer performs residential and non-residential development plan(s) review for compliance with related elements of the Land Development Code, Comprehensive Plan and other permitting programs/activities. Graduation from an accredited 4 year college/university with major course work in Civil Engineering or a related field plus a minimum of 5 years experience in the field of Civil Engineering. Successful candidate must be a registered Professional Engineer and be able to obtain registration in the State of Florida within 6 months of employment.
COMPENSATION
Starting salary is up to $69,500, depending on qualifications. Generous fringe benefits are included.
