POLK COUNTY, FLORIDA
Polk County is the georgraphic center of Florida and encompasses over 2,000 square miles. Population is approximately 500,000. The County Engineer directs all activities of development review and construction within the Growth Management Department. It requires graduation from an accredited four year college or university with major course work in Civil Engineering or a related field. It also requires 5 years experience in the field of Civil Engineering with 3 years in a responsible administrative engineering capacity.
COMPENSATION
Starting salary is up to $83,000 depending on qualifications. Generous fringe benefits ill be included.
