OSCEOLA COUNTY, FLORIDA
Osceola County is located in the heart of Central Florida, covering 1,506 square miles. It has a population of approximately 235,000; the population is growing rapidly and is projected to reach 525,000 by 2025. The City of Kissimmee is the County Seat. The Transportation Planning Manager reports to the Planning Director. Osceola County is seeking someone with a Master's degree in Planning or Engineering but must have at least a Bachelor's degree in Planning, Engineering or a related field. The ideal candidate must have four to six years of transportation planning experience and experience in a larger, growing community is desirable. The starting salary for the position is up to $95,000, depending on qualifications. Fringe benefits are generous.
