Osceola County operates under a Commission-Manager form of government. The Planning/Environmental Services Department falls within the Growth Management Division along with the Building Department and the Zoning & Code Enforcement Department. Within the Planning/Environmental Services Department are: Planning, Development, Environmental Services, and GIS. The Planning/Environmental Services Department has 31 employees and a budget of $3 million. The Director reports to the County Manager.
Starting salary is $63,000 - $94,000, depending on qualifications. Fringe benefits are generous.
