HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR

OSCEOLA COUNTY, FLORIDA

 

Osceola County is located in the heart of Central Florida, covering 1,506 square miles and with a population of approximately 235,000.  The County operates under a Commission-Manager form of government.  The Human Resources Department is currently comprised of three sections, Human Resources, Risk Management and the Child Development Center (CDC).  The Human Resources Director reports directly to the County Manager and oversees a department of 7 professional staff and 2 administrative/support staff.  The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in human resources or a related field and will have significant experience as the HR Director in the public sector.  The starting salary range for the position is up to $96,743, depending on qualifications.  Fringe benefits are generous.
