SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT for PLANNING, ENGINEERING & ENVIRONMENTAL
RHODE ISLAND AIRPORT CORPORATION
The Rhode Island Airport Corporation is a self-sustaining public agency that is responsible for the design, construction, operation and maintenance of Rhode Islandís six state airports; T.F. Green, a medium hub commercial airport located in Central Rhode Island within the City of Warwick and five General Aviation airports located through the State. As a growing public agency funded solely through airport user fees and federal grants, the success of RIACís mission is heavily reliant upon the involvement and cooperation of many constituencies from local, state and federal agencies to the aviation industry, airport patrons, regulatory agencies and the general public.
The Senior Vice President for Planning, Engineering and Environmental reports directly to RIACís President and CEO and leads a staff of three executives; Vice President, Environmental Management Systems, Manager of Engineering and Manager of Planning. The position requires a strong background in the technical oversight of all planning, engineering and environmental functions of a medium to large hub airport system. Of equal importance is the ability to effectively coordinate short and long term capital projects and to be able to interact successfully with the many constituents and stakeholders that interact with this state airport system. A competitive salary and exceptional benefit package will be offered based upon the successful candidateís qualifications and experience.
