 Kay Robertson
Mrs. Kay Robertson, VP and long time consultant to the Mercer
Group, Inc., tragically passed away in July of 2011, after being thrown from a horse. She and her husband Philip were in the midst of a City Manager hiring assignment in South Carolina. The story made news here:

“Mr. and Mrs. Robertson undertook the task of compiling a
profile job description for the new City Manager after interviewing the Mayor, Council members, and numerous stakeholders in the community.
Unfortunately, the Mayor explained, they had not yet finished when Kay Robertson fell from a horse during a weekend horse show and suffered severe head injuries. Tragically, after
remaining in a coma for a number of weeks, Mrs. Robertson ultimately passed away due to her injuries.”
Ms. Robertson worked for the last eight years for the Mercer Group, and seven years in the
banking industry filling every position in branch banking, including branch manager. Her employers were SouthTrust Bank in Atlanta, Georgia, and Nations Bank in Fayetteville, North
Carolina. Mrs. Robertson has a BA in Marketing with a minor in Finance from Texas A&M University.
