Joyce Stille brings twenty years of public sector
experience to the Mercer Group. Currently, she is a Town Administrator in Bolton, Connecticut managing the full range of affairs for the municipality including budget administration,
personnel, long range planning and policy development. Recently, Ms. Stille was instrumental in forming the first regional water pollution control authority in the State of Connecticut for a sewer
project involving three communities. She continues to work on policy, administration and funding challenges facing this new entity.
Ms. Stille is a member of the Connecticut Town and City Management
Association and has served on the association’s Board of Directors. Currently, she also serves on the Council of Small Towns Board of Directors, Eastern
Highlands Health District Board of Directors, Route 6 Economic Development Council, Bolton Lakes Regional Water Pollution Control Authority Board of
Directors and the Capitol Region Council of Governments.
Joyce has received various honors and awards for her leadership and
dedication to Connecticut Special Olympics and continues to play an active role in the organization. In addition, she has used her leadership skills and
certifications as a Firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician in the Bolton Volunteer Fire Department where she has served in officer positions including Deputy Chief.
Ms. Stille holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and
Economics from Morningside College and did graduate work in Public Administration at the University of Hartford.
