TOWN OF ERIE, COLORADO
The Town of Erie, Colorado is conducting a nationwide search for a new Town Administrator. The Town is located north of Denver, with beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains and close proximity to Denver International Airport and the University of Colorado in Boulder. Qualifications: The new Administrator will possess a Bachelor’s degree in political science, public administration, business administration or other related field and at least seven years of progressively responsible experience in city management.
The preferred candidates will have experience in growth-impacted communities, in creating primary employment, and in commercial and retail development. He or she should also have thorough working knowledge of infrastructure systems and maintenance, knowledge of Western water law, and municipal finance experience. Airport experience a plus.

The most qualified candidates will be interviewed by telephone for further screening. A select group of candidates will be asked to provide references when determined that they may be recommended as finalists; references will be contacted only following candidate approval. Final interviews will be held with the Board of Trustees at the Town of Erie in early May. Appointment is subject to passing a background check.
Compensation and Benefits: The salary range is $110,000 - $150,000, annually.
Compensation (base salary plus generous benefits) will be based upon experience, credentials, and personal characteristics of the candidate. Relocation expenses will be negotiated on an individual basis.
