CHELCO is seeking to hire a Chief Operating Officer to develop, coordinate, and implement standards, plans, and guidelines which are applied and utilized in all phases of daily operations to ensure the best possible services to members of the Cooperative. The position will report to the CEO and directly supervise three vice-presidents.
Applicants must possess a Bachelors Degree from an accredited four (4) year university or college, have ten (10) years of upper management experience with a minimum of five years being in a managerial role requiring executive level decision-making, and show an advanced understanding and acceptance of the philosophies, operations, purposes, objectives and goals of Electric Cooperatives. Starting salary range is from $92,000 to $138,000 depending on qualifications.
